How to Play
Starting the Game
- Click the 🎌 Flags Quiz button in the main toolbar
- The game loads flags and territory data automatically
- Read the quick intro and click Start Quiz to begin

Gameplay
- A mystery flag is displayed at the top of the screen
- You have 15 seconds to identify which territory uses this flag
- Choose the correct territory to submit your answer
- Earn points for correct answers and build your streak!
Scoring & Progression
- Each correct answer increases your score by +1 point
- Wrong answers reset your streak but don't end the game
- The game tracks:
- Current Score: Total correct answers in this session
- Best Score: Your all-time high score (saved automatically)
- Accuracy: Percentage of correct guesses
- Time Remaining: Countdown timer for the current round
- Your best score persists in your browser across sessions
- Challenge yourself to beat your personal record and improve your accuracy!
Territory Coverage
The Flag Quiz includes flags from territories around the world:
- Countries: All independent nations
- States & Provinces: Major subdivisions (US states, Canadian provinces, etc.)
- Autonomous Regions: Special administrative regions and territories
- Dependencies: Overseas territories and possessions
Result Display
After each round, you'll see:
- Correctness indicator: Visual confirmation if you were right or wrong
- Correct answer: The territory name and flag
- Territory location: The territory appears highlighted on the map
- Time taken: How long it took you to answer
- Next round button: Continue to the next challenge
Exiting the Game
- Click the ✕ button in the game header at any time
- Your scores are saved automatically before exiting
- Return anytime to continue improving your score
